About Me

Hi, I’m Anthony Morris — author of Digestible China.

For years I struggled with IBS, SIBO, and the daily challenge of eating food I loved without paying the price afterward. Chinese food, with all its comfort and flavour, felt off-limits — the garlic, onions, sauces, and hidden triggers made every meal a gamble.

Instead of giving up, I started reimagining those dishes. I researched, tested, and cooked my way through traditional recipes, adapting them to fit the Low FODMAP framework while keeping the taste and soul intact.

The result became Digestible China: the first Low FODMAP Chinese cookbook designed for sensitive stomachs. It blends recipes, cultural reflections, and my own journey — so others don’t have to choose between gut health and comfort food.

My belief is simple: food should heal, not hurt.

When I’m not in the kitchen or writing, you’ll usually find me exploring new cafés, traveling, or finding inspiration in the everyday rituals of food and culture.
